SPIRITED RETREATS

A JOURNEY TO REST, RENEW, AND RECONNECT.
INSTRUCTORS
ROSE JOLY

I’m a passionate yoga teacher with a deep love for movement, creativity, and mindfulness. My journey began in Montreal, where I completed my yoga training and have since had the privilege of teaching for the past four years. My practice blends fluid and dynamic sequencing with a strong focus on presence, inviting students to fully engage in each moment, on and off the mat.
Yoga, for me, is not just about physical movement; it’s an opportunity to cultivate mindfulness, creating a space where we can tune in, breathe, and simply be. My classes are designed to help students find their flow while offering challenge and exploration, giving them the freedom to discover their unique expression through movement.
I am beyond excited for this retreat in Nicaragua! It’s a true joy for me to spend time with my students in a more intimate setting—getting to know each other over shared meals, swimming in the ocean, and even learning how to surf together. There’s something magical about connecting in this way—both through practice and through the beauty of nature. I’m thrilled for the opportunity to create lasting memories and share this transformative experience with everyone.
GABE SHAMASH

I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. I began practicing yoga at age 18 as a means to cross-train for competitive sports like soccer, which I played at the time, and to heal recurring injuries from years of snowboarding and skateboarding. Soon, yoga became my main focus, and a desire to share the benefits I was experiencing set in.
I completed my first yoga teacher training in the spring of 2009 in California. I then taught full-time at many studios around Vancouver, including Hot Yoga 101, Bikram Yoga Richmond, Yoga Union, Hot Yoga Commercial Drive, The Yoga Bar, Vancity Yoga, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Traditional Chinese Garden, North Yoga, and West Coast Hot Yoga, to name a few.
I have been teaching since 2008 and love working with beginners, showing them simple yoga and breathing techniques to give them tools to heal, relax, and self-regulate. I am a community-minded teacher who loves meeting people and creating spaces of inclusion, learning, and solace. I have traveled extensively and taught yoga along the way in New York, Hawaii, Paris, and across Canada. I am trained and certified to teach Hot Yoga, Hatha, Yin Yoga, Vinyasa, Ashtanga Yoga, and Restorative Yoga.
Generally, my classes are a blend of whatever feels most appropriate for the students in the room.
I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of this retreat and to share with our guests this tropical and truly breathtaking beach paradise—while enjoying daily yoga classes, amazing day trips, delicious nourishing food, and each other’s company.
DUSTIN VIELER

I am a passionate and creative multidisciplinary yoga and movement teacher.
I started practicing yoga in 2013 while working as a metal fabricator and welder, acquiring multiple neck and back injuries from the job. I had always been interested in holistic healing methods, but yoga had never piqued my interest—until one day, my chiropractor gave me a free class pass to Moksha Yoga in Hamilton, Ontario. I became hooked after just one class.
Since then, I have completed over 1,000 hours of training in Classical Hatha/84, Vinyasa, Forrest Yoga, Yin, Restorative, and other strength and conditioning methods, including kettlebells. I am always striving to learn more about the vast ocean of yoga and conscious living.
For me, yoga is not just about training the physical body, but about facilitating balance between the mind, body, and spirit. Yoga can be brought into everyday life—whether walking down the street, at work, or lifting weights at the gym. It is not confined to the four sides of a yoga mat.
I look forward to leading you all through classes in the beautiful landscape of Nicaragua.
